Let It Snow
In this one-day workshop, students will learn techniques for creating a one-of-a-kind glass snowflake. The finished snowflake can be one color or many colors and shapes. Students will be introduced to the “copper foil” method used in stained class art. Students will learn to properly and safely use glass tools and equipment. Students will also practice applying foil, patina, and polish. Instruction will focus on design, structure, and stability. Students will be provided with several choices of glass and patterns. Please be sure to bring personal safety glasses, closed toe shoes, paper towels, and a black sharpie.
