The dedication, enthusiasm, and generosity of our volunteers make it possible for us to fulfill our mission and bring art and creativity to the community. Whether it’s organizing events, greeting and educating visitors, assisting with workshops, or working behind the scenes, our volunteers help create lasting connections and a vibrant cultural experience for all.

Where We Need Your Help
Gallery Exhibits
We have six traditional galleries to host our exhibitions and member consignment artwork.
Volunteers Can:
Help with hanging our many shows every year, along with helping to organize our artwork inventory.
Classes
We host 70 classes and workshops, offering artists of all ages and skill levels opportunity to learn, grow, and create.
Volunteers Can:
Help our instructors in setting up/breaking down classrooms and assisting students during classes.
Events
We host our twice annual Arts in the Park Festival, along with our holiday WhoDunIt? Mystery Art Fundraiser, Plein Air International Paint-Out and other fundraising events.
Volunteers Can:
Help booth sit and greet visitors during our festivals, guide guests to our different exhibits and help with registration and ticket sales.
Facilities
BRMAA is located inside of The Art Center, a historical courthouse in Fannin County, and the home of all things ART in North Georgia.
Volunteers Can:
Greet visitors at the front desk, clean floors and organize spaces, along with keeping restrooms stocked and sanitary.
Other Volunteer Duties
- Gardening & Landscaping Art Center Grounds
- Assist in ongoing maintenance (painting, repairing & general maintenance of the historic Fannin County C)

We’d love to have you be part of the meaningful work we do throughout the year. To get started, simply complete the Volunteer Application form below. This will ensure you’re in our system and among the first to hear about upcoming opportunities.
Once you’re confirmed, you’ll be able to sign up for a variety of rewarding roles that fit your interests and schedule. Right now, we’re especially looking for support in these key areas:
- Greeter at our front desk (especially on weekends)
- Clerical assistance on Thursdays
- Housekeeping every other Tuesday
- Arts in the Park event volunteers

Who We Are?
The Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association (BRMAA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the community through the power of art. Nestled in the heart of Blue Ridge, Georgia, BRMAA offers opportunities for artists, residents, and visitors to explore, create, and celebrate a wide range of art forms. Through exhibitions, workshops, and events, the association fosters creativity while preserving the region’s rich cultural heritage.
What We Do?
The Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association (BRMAA) brings art to life in the community through diverse programs and events. We inspire creativity and foster connections by:
- Hosting art exhibits and festivals, including our twice-annual Arts in the Park Festival
- Offering hands-on workshops and classes for all ages and skill levels
- Providing gallery space to showcase local and regional artists
- Supporting cultural preservation and arts education initiatives
- Providing classroom and studio space for the Art Center’s dance troupe and yoga classes
