Introduction to Woodcarving: Fish
This workshop will introduce students to wood carving including tool safety, and basic tool usage will be emphasized. Students will learn the safe procedures for carving using a knife, and be introduced to sharpening, stropping, check-cuts, push-cuts, stop-cuts and paring-cuts. Tools will be available to use or bring your favorite knife.
In this workshop, students will work on carving a fish. For continued practice, consider becoming a BRMAA member.
