Mystery Meets Masterpiece at WhoDunIt?, The Art Center’s Annual Mystery Art Fundraiser!
Throughout the evening, guests will explore a collection of original works donated by talented local and regional artists, but there is one important detail missing: every artist’s identity remains hidden. Without signatures, reputations, or familiar names to guide them, guests must trust their own instincts and choose the artwork that speaks to them most.
As ticket numbers are drawn, each guest will enter the gallery and select a favorite piece from those still available. Will you take home the work of a celebrated local artist, discover an exciting new talent, or spend the rest of the evening wondering exactly who dun it? Every ticket holder leaves with an original work of art, and the artists are revealed only after the selections have been made.
Join us at The Art Center on November 14 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. for an entertaining evening of art, suspense, refreshments, and friendly competition, all while supporting youth arts programming and student scholarships through the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association.
Space and artwork are limited, so secure your ticket, sharpen your detective instincts, and prepare to uncover your own mystery masterpiece.
How It Works
Purchase your ticket and join us at The Art Center for an unforgettable evening of art, suspense, and community support.
The night begins with a special preview of the raffle artwork from 6:00 to 6:30 PM in our Studio Gallery. Guests will have the opportunity to peruse an exceptional collection of donated works from local, regional, established, and emerging artists. But the real question is… “Who dun it?”
Following the preview, guests will gather in the Richard Lowe Evans Gallery for the main event. Enjoy a complimentary wine bar and a delicious selection of hors d’oeuvres as the excitement builds.
Each ticket purchased will be entered into the raffle and placed into the drawing box. Starting promptly, tickets will be drawn at three-minute intervals. When your number is called, you’ll have the chance to step into the Studio Gallery and select your favorite piece of art from the collection.
But don’t wait too long—the pace quickens as the evening unfolds! Multiple guests may be in the gallery at once, so be ready to claim your prize before someone else does.
Every ticket holder goes home a winner, ensuring that each guest leaves with an original work of art.
All proceeds from this event benefit the Youth Art Programs at The Art Center and student scholarships provided by the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association.
